omniX powers the new Samsung store
omniX reimagines the retail experience
Samsung was about to re-launch a new concept flagship store, but unlike a traditional store, Samsung wanted to create a completely personalized solution based on every visitor. An experience built around the customer’s needs and one that adapts to the individual.
To do that, Samsung needs to capture real-time data from every store visit.
Every digital screen’s camera was powered by omniX software. omniX is able to visually identify the person in front of a digital screen and using the unique technology of TPS Engage, Samsung is then able to serve the right message to the right person at the right time.
The data being captured by omniX included count, flow, age, gender, as well as sentiment and the results exceeded all expectations:
- Accurate identification of visitors
- Count, age, gender, and sentiment captured
- Direct correlation between visits and conversion
- No CapEx or extra hardware
- Enhanced customer experience
- Analytics on long term demand patterns
Furthermore, in the first few days of operations, Samsung witnessed 3 times more sales compared to a traditional store.
